Our sonics are a tad lighter than the srt4. So we dont quite need the same power. But even getting close is kind of cool. Considering srts are intended for performance and the Sonics aren't.To beable to take on a stock srt4 would be most ideal match up they're around 250hp

I met a kid last night at a car meet. Had a 05 acr srt4 that his grandpa stashed for him it only had 8000 miles and was bone stock. It still had the plastic from the dealer on the floor. He wasn't much faster than my tuned sonic. Are there any stock SRT-4's left? And they are not 250 stock, I dyno'd mine with a MBC set to around 18 psi and it was getting about 216 at the wheels. Mine was the first model year though, for the second model year they added a LSD, a sunroof became available and I think they made some tweaks to the ECU so the later years may have made a few more HP but not that much.
Unless the ACR's were a lot different, I had gotten rid of mine by the time those came out and I don't know much about them other than they were white.

This is mine with only a few hundred miles on it at the local dragstrip, Pacific Raceways.
It was still stock here and it was easy to click off 14.2 runs without even trying. One of the runs I did was against an EVO VIII and he did a 13.8 which was just barely a car length faster, what an exciting race that was! I have no doubt that the only reason he went faster was because of the better launch due to the AWD.
Not sure how we got on srt4's but my camaro used to eat them for breakfast and $hit them for dinner...
Yeah but those are two really different classes of cars, the SRT-4 was a pretty revolutionary car in it's class at the time.
I won't be racing the srt4 I was talking about anymore. He crashed going about 140This is mine with only a few hundred miles on it at the local dragstrip, Pacific Raceways.
