Anybody use Competition Grade Woofers and Amplifiers?

Im currently running gear probably nobody has heard of (imported from germany) but just wondering if anyone else has done any SPL oriented builds in their sonic?

for example (my youtube channel) Matts Music - YouTube

those are my builds, im working on my sonic hatch as we speak...

Single 1200 RMS 3" coil H12
1 H3000.1 (wired @ 2 ohms so 1500 before box rise)
2/0 Cabling Big Three and Front to back Runs
2 XP3000's in the rear tire well...

Using the PAC adapter to integrate,

Havent installed them yet, but i have a set of German X165 Component 3 way set ups to install

Dont mind the Foam mess in the tire well, just to secure the batteries from moving around.

Nice to see someone getting into the high power audio. My audio list contains...

Orion HCCA 15" 4" dual voice coil 2 ohm (however it is currently wired down to 1 ohm).

RE XTX5000.1 amp (2500 RMS @ 1 ohms).

I love it! honestly anxious to get this setup metered here shortly, i have 4 of these 12s laying here, 2 of which need reconed, but, Going to send one into PSI to get it upgraded (should be a 2500 rms driver when its done

Awesome you will have to let me know how it sounds. A word of advice if you are going to head into the realm of high bass (high SPL) with these cars. The rear view mirror is gapped underneath the black cover. Learned the hard way when I first tested my sub, resulted in a broken windshield almost immediately (more like a large chip from where the mirror hammers back and forth). It's nothing serious as far as breaks go but if it happens to you I'm sure you will notice it from a front view.

Will load up pics later of the old windshield to show you what I'm talking about.

Not what most would consider high output, but I did just finish rebuilding a 10w6v2 d4 and I am now building a box for it to fit in the back nice and tidy. Will be powered with a 1000w amp I have laying around. Nothing special, but should do the trick for day to day stuff. I traded the denaili with all the music in it thinking I was over it...I guess you're never over it lol.

Im hoping, to get it metered by the end of the month, the only reason i have these 12's is from my 04 Vibe Wall build, I ended up killing 2 of the 4 12's in the wall (clipping :/ but glad i bought an oscope and learned my lesson!)

Currently 2 are being reconed to 2500 RMS Drivers, going to end up running 3k to a single one in the sonic for the rest of the year before i rebuild my real SPL vehicle ( busted windshields etc all on my youtube channel lol)

the W6 is a great woofer, Its definately the SPL oriented JL woofer (W7 Being SQ)

It is in and playing music right now, it sounds mightly delightful

whats the best score youve ever had in anything youve built. i dont care what class outlaw mw whatever class. the vibe build looked decent for 4 12s. also noted the grizzly can in the cubby. pouches? lol just sayin..when you chew grizzly, you make friends.

The vibe was a ported wall tuned @ 28hz... 2 3ks... wired at 1 ohm each on each pair of woofers, with rise clamped just a hair over 4k during music runs

The Highest i ever saw on the meter was 152.1 at the beginning of my minute and 30 second run in kaos, ended up averaging 149.7 with a busted windshield at the show (broke it listening to music on the way up) But it was a music vehicle, it was solid from 23hz up to around 45 where it tapered off (midbass started to kick in around 55 so all was fine)

Kaos is center of the windshield, music average for 1:30, talk about stressing woofers and equipment! full tilt for 1:30 when playing for score gets interesting!

Metered 1 foot outside of the window (so replicating driving by someone outside i suppose) it metered 137.5 outside the car

Id say the sonic is currently around a 41 or a 42... thats just by my earometer

My car does a 143.2 currently peaking at 42hz. I wish they wouldnt have gotten rid of mayhem how it used to be the ballsout class burps...that sucks.. but oh well.

The highest score ive ever done is 159.8 on the windsheild sealed up. Denali xl walled at b and a half. 4 aq hdc4 18s peaks at 39. 4 xs d3100. 2 mechman 440s? Dont quote me on the alts its 2 4somethings. 4 runs of skyhigh 2/0 ofc. 2 aq 3500d. The old style not the d.1
