Boost/Temp gauge void warranty?

This is a fairly simple question. Will boost and temperature gauges void the warranty on the chevrolet sonic. I'm talking analog gauges that require you tap into a coolant stream/into the intake. I've seen the OBD2 gauges and I really like them, but I am not going to drop $200 on a gauge.

Everyone on here seems to have the ultra gauge and I believe their around $60.

I have heard of the Ultra Gauge and Scan Gauge, but I am looking for an actual round gauge. I've seen some round OBD2 gauges, but they're spendy. Like the Aeroforce.

on that note...HOW/WHAT do you tap into to get temp data? Do they make a probe which fits into between the radiator coils??

There are a few methods. One is to drill and tap a coolant passage in the block or head. The second and more common practice is to splice in a coupling (pipe) with a threaded hole into the hot-side rad hose. Third, you can sometimes get temp senders with 2 discrete outputs. One for the PCM and the other for whatever you want provided the ohm-range is correct.
