im goin to plasti dip the side chrome window trim and eventually get the windows tinted i just dont know how dark i want to go

I don't have any pic's but I went 15% on the sides and back with a 5% strip across the front and I love how it turned out. Luckily you really don't have to worry about tint darkness in FL.

lol thats average speed lol but my mpg is currently at 24.4 with all this city traffic and ive only had it bout a week so yea ive been a lil hard on her to see how she will handle it but latley been trying to be easy with her.

yea here in missouri the 2 front windows can only go to 35% but the back 3 can go as dark as i want, and how far down did your front strip go cuz the AS1 line is really high up. and thank you about the chrome trim on the bow tie, i had it all blacked but think the chrome trim has a nice offset

Sure is avg spd, my bad. Just glanced at it real quick. the 500 miles and 2 fill up I put in mine before I deployed got me 34-35 on the DIC but when calculated it at the pump it was 31-32, kind of sad that it's off by 4 mpg. When I get home I think I am going to pick up some plastidip and go to town.

Yea im currently at 896 miles now lol i think i drive too much for only having it for a lil over a week lol, I found my plasti dip at home depot with the spraypaints but they only have black i think i want to get a matching orange made so i can do my rims in black with orange on the inside of the spokes

That would be nice. Or Plastidip them and put an orange pin strip on the outer lip, the regual paint should come off with the plastidip. I can't find plastidip at my HomeDepot and think I might pick up some silver as well and hit the chrome on the truck and grill and some black for the chrome on the door sills.

I don't think you should plasti-dip the chrome window trim, just because the regular Sonics don't have it, they pretty much have the plastic looking black material standardly.

Yea I know it's a upgraded trim but I'm just really not feeling it, I like the flat black look on the gloss orange, and If I decide I like the chrome I can just peel off the plastidip lol

The regular paint won't come off with the plastidip, but if u want any colors other then you have to contact the people at dipyourcar.com to request a custom color, I wouldn't plastidip your sills cuz it easily peels away with any rubbing so it would most likely peel away in a day lol

Oh I'm pretty anxious to do it, I won't b able to do anything till Tuesday so I've been really just thinking of different things, just play around with the plastidip n if I don't really like it I can peel it off without any damage! But I got a good solid idea so hopefully Tuesday!
