hit a racoon =.= ......
cracked my bumper, ripped out the inner fender well liner halfway causing it to get damaged .. ripped the front lip out of the corner of the bumper.. then proceeded to spin it around the wheel well and out against the side of the car...
without actually getting down and looking there's not a ton of visual damage.. so not sure if I want to claim it or not since I don't really have the money and this could happen again with me working nights and my route to work.. not sure I want to wait for noticeable damage or to suck it up and fix it this time as well

I replaced my plugs today. I went from the stock iridiums, which were all gapped at .026" except for one lone .025"er, to these Autolite XP3923 iridiums gapped at .028". We'll see if it makes any difference in idle smoothness or economy.

Painted fogs yellow
I had put vinyl on the fogs, and had painted my corners and rear turn signal lenses amber. Today I took the vinyl off (it gets pitted from dirt and debris too much), and painted 4 coats. I also repainted the tire lettering, and gave her a shine...
Easy to remove the fogs... taped off the perimeter and other assembly.
Nice and yellow....amber....yellow...whatever!
The tire paint is white...for now... I wish SOMEONE made car tires with white lettering again....come on Uniroyal!!

I think it runs a bit smoother, but that's it.
I'm going to get a set of NGK Iridium IX plugs soon.

Unless you're running a higher out put coil set I would recommend closing the gap to stock or even slightly less.

Installed my CAI yesterday, the sound now as it's spooling is almost too much.
I removed the snorkel thinking the sound was it struggling to get air. But here is the picture and a short video as I drove to work today.

I haven't heard it from outside the car, but inside the cabin it sounds like the car is going to explode then.... WOOOOOOOSHHHHH<----BOV hahaha
But the spool is very loud, I could see that bothering some people. I may try a aftermarket intake tube to the stock air box. see how it does after I get some more miles on it.

ZZP Exhaust with second cat and muffler
DDM Cold intake, and Blue Hoses.
DDM Coil Cover.
Got everything plain.. Those items can be shot whatever color scheme I come up with later. Do dig the blue hoses though. A nice touch on a Crystal Red Car.

Sounds like mine did only the whoosh is has a flutter to it on mine. Not sure why. My new MPFab intake is not quite as lound. But it is sealed WAY better. The sucking air noise on the freeway in particular is much improved. Not as constant.

I was thinking about possibly getting a mfab intake. When moving with this set up my intake temp is only 3 over ambient.

Not cheap but happy I upgraded. Also look at posts from whitesmoke on sealing it even better.
