The problem is, you've got two accent colors right next to eachother on a relatively clean build. Blue against Red on a Black and White car. No Bueno.
Here's my suggestion:
Either paint the wheels in a dark grey color: Anthracite, Gunmetal, Titanium
Or, paint them black, and put a red stripe around the outer lip
Or, paint the center spokes white, and the outer edge black <-this one I'm not to sure about though.
If you really like the blue, you can't have the red right next to it. You'd need to go back to black calipers and lugs.
EDIT: One other idea.
Paint the rims black, and use the blue as the outer-lip stripe. Then, get some Lamin-X in blue, and tint your headlights. The brake calipers would also need to go blue, or go home.

That plasti-dip... I'm just not sure now, since it's not exactly something you can do a gloss coat over...
