Well I've owned my 2015 rs for a month now. Purchased first big mod yesterday for it so I figured I would start a build thread. Without further ado here she is.

Tinted the fog lights Yellow and dipped the chrome around them

Always liked the look of the gm intake, just did not like the price. Ended up going with a MPFab intake on my turbo, love it.

Yeah I didn't like the price either. I would've got the ddm works one but this way my dad doesn't bitch at me for modifying it already. I've been looking at all the tunes. Are bnr ones not efilive?

Installed by me. Took 20 minutes. Hardest part was removing old plastic elbow from factory intake on turbo. It was $750 canadian but it comes with a ecm flash to get rid of the lean problem

I thought it would also come with install, as in they install it and tune it. Very surprised they were willing to do the tune when you did the install work... but maybe Canada isn't as screwed up about such things as most US stealerships seem to be.

I asked them at the stealership in parts and service but they had no idea if install was included in the price. So I just did it myself. It says on instalation instructions "the price of recalibration is included in the price of this kit. once installed drive to your nearest dealership and have them recalibrate the ecm. Dealer is to bill labour to code blah blah blah". It says on accessory site for gm canada that installation is included in the price. But I figured I would just do it. Didn't want to wait for them to install it

Well since I live in the great white north it's coming that time to get her ready for snow mode. So I have ordered a set of steelies that I'm painting white and glow in the dark, a set of blizzak ws80 tires and a set of rally armor mudflaps. Now we wait for brown Santa to show up

Well I got my rally armor mudflaps installed yesterday. Just used existing screws to hold them on and they look awesome. One step closer to being ready for winter

It says on accessory site for gm canada that installation is included in the price.

I'm in Ontario and have considered that over-priced GM intake as well, mainly because I don't want any potential hassles with warranty. I'd be happy to install it myself but otherwise I don't see any mention on that site about installation being included in price, only the re-calibration.

Here's how it reads on GM.ca:
"Performance Air Intake
Designed for a factory fit, this Performance Air Intake includes dealer-installed calibration to ensure your Sonic will maintain functionality of its engine diagnostics. Kit includes air cleaner assembly and calibration authorization code. Performance Air Intake, Air Cleaner Kit"

Yeah they updated the site. I installed it myself and there was no problem when I took it in to get it calibrated
