There are some factory scratches ive seen on a few sonics on the underbody, behind the front wheel where there are two big holes. Possibly alignment holes or the assembly line. Anyone covering these with anything?
I haven't looked. It won't bother me at all if it is scratched down there where you can't see it anyway. If it's down to bare metal I'll touch it up, but that's the extent of what I'd do to it.
Wax? Paint won't stick to wax, but if it's in the area I think you're talking about, I think what you're referring to is stone guard, it's a thick, usually white-ish lumpy-textured and somewhat soft kind of paint that they put on the rocker panels and bottoms of the fenders and doors of cars to help protect them from rock chips and the like. They put it underneath of the actual paint so that way the finish is all the same color, of course.
