Boost gauge vacuum line

For all the people who installed a boost gauge, what vacuum line did you tap into? I've been searching for a while and cant find anything on this, people have asked the question but no one responded :sadbanana: I tried both of the small vacuum lines that run by the wastegate actuator to the solenoid and got no reading what so ever, there should definitely be vacuum running through them or my gauge is broken?

wastegate actuator will normally only see positive pressure. find a line thats on the engine side of the throttle plate.

all of the ones by the throttle are plastic, maybe ill have to T into one as a last resort but if i ever take it in for warranty work im pretty sure they'd notice it

Boost gauge Line tie-in

Has anyone figured this out yet? I have a boost gauge arriving in a few days and can`t wait to install it. What line is best to tie in to? I see the short curved plastic line behind the throttle body. (is that the one that should be used?)

I installed an autometer pro comp boost gauge in mine. There is a hard line on the top of the i m toward the driver side. I simply cut this line off and put a t in the and Ran the entire line with rubber. Seems to be working great. And by the way mine only boosts 8.5Psi max according to my gauge.

i just purchased a ultraguage and plugged it right into the OBDII port

i got a tinted 7 color glow shift gauge and mine reads 24 psi with my injen intake

Wow, 24!? Is that with the tri tune? I have the zzp intake installed
and the same kind of gauge. The tune package is on order. I see max boost readings
Of bout 15. I think I've seen 20 under rare occasions like higher speed downshifts
And stuff.

yeah, that's with both tune and intake. i was surprised to see that much when i gunned it down the highway by my house
