Nice work! I used Meguiar's too

I used the 83 with the polisher to clean the paint up since I haven't detailed it once since I got it.

Used the 7 by hand after. Love that it dries clear and super easy to buff off. Left a mirror glaze just like advertised

Antenna delete. I don't use XM, radio, or On-Star, so I decided to make the car look better. Even though I'm not planning to remount the antenna, it isn't difficult to remount it on the back rear deck if you have a Dremel and some time.

This post includes part numbers for the plug and grommet, and I used some vinyl tint to shade that chrome a bit.

Not sure where to post this. Im new to the tuning world in general and ive been lurking for a while. Waiting for my warranty to expire so i can start my build lol. Anyway i have a question. Ive been thinking of either a bigger turbo or these in wheel electric motors i found. I messaged them about it and they messaged back saying they r busy right now but to ask them later in the year. Ive been seriously considering adding these motors. Either the m700 or the ltype Motors ? Elaphe in-wheel electric motors

From what I've seen motors, power controller, drive control, batteries, you're probably in for$5000 (maybe you could shave that down to $2500?)

Perhaps you could modify volt parts to save some fab?

There are shops that specialize in electric conversions, maybe there's one near you that could look and lend some expertise

Like would it be possible for the back wheel motors to outrun the front wheel transmission? or will it be something akin to going down a steep hill. I need to make this happen lol. at 100 motors a piece that would net me 328 hp plus a crazy amount of torque. This better not be too good to be true.

That's the tough part, what drive system to use. Parallel hybrid, series hybrid, electric only? Lots of ways to skin that cat.

There are tons of videos on DIY electric conversions (mostly old vws and such) that will really give you some cool insight.

Maybe you can find a totaled ev or hybrid and Jack the drive train?

I drove my Sonic! I was away from a trip for a couple of weeks, so I had a rental Mitsubishi Lancer Auto. What a piece of crap.

I got in the Sonic and was giddy with how much more pep I had! Its good to be back!

Edit. Just realized that the Lancer that I drove is a 1.6L version that is not available in North America. Comes with a 4 speed auto. So there's that, but it was still a piece of crap!

There's nothing wrong with the chimes. But apparently not enough chimes when u leave your keys or something. I think it's anything with MyLink. Check the recalls thread. I didn't get a notice either. It was in my onstar email and I checked the forum to confirm.
