Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I was recently in a bad accident that involved a person who was texting. That person ended up rear ending my Scion tC and shoving it into the car in front of me. The Scion was totaled so I had to find a new ride.
After sifting through a number of used cars and contemplating a new Scion tC or New Hyundai Veloster I decided to test drive a Sonic Turbo. The dealership only had an automatic so I went ahead and took it for a spin. I really liked the car and ended up asking them to find me a turbo with manual. So after a couple of days I picked up my new Silver Ice 1LT Turbo Sedan with Connectivity and Cruise Package.
I've had the car for exactly one week now and I have to say I'm quite pleased with the car so far. Runs great, shifts smoothly, and gets amazing gas mileage. The only real disappointment I have is finding out that the spare tire was deleted from my specific trim/option level.
This car is my daily driver to and from work along with any road trips I might take. It helps keep the miles off my other car which is a 2007 Corvette. Even then I keep finding myself taking out the Sonic for a brief joy rides cause I like the smooth ride and can't get over the money I'll be saving on gas
So now I have two silver cars with 6 speed manuals and neither have a spare tire. I guess you could say I'm stuck in my ways.
