2016 Velvet Blue Metallic 1.4L turbo LT hatchback. Purchased May 2016. Yada yada yada. Just installed the advantage calibration from Trifecta and so far, so good.

Also should mention, this is my first ever small car. Man, I had no idea what I was missing.

So far, I am very pleased...it's respectably quick for its class, looks good, and fun to drive. Now if only I hadn't chosen the velvet blue metallic/black interior color combination when I live in a place that routinely hits triple-digits in the summer.

Glad you like your little turbo. It definitely has some punch. I'm guessing you live in the southwest. A/C full blast. Show some pics of that velvet blue LT when u have a chance.

My 2014 Chevy Sonic Lt has an issue with the passenger airbag sensor. It is constantly off,. I'm 5'11" 150 lbs. And it still says it's off. My girlfriend is in the car with me occasionally, so this is a worrisome safety issue for me. I had another 2014 Sonic(same car) but was rear ended by an uninsured driver. That car had pretty much the same issue. It would work occasionally, but the new one doesn't work at all. I noticed some other post about similar issues but I was having issues with the search function for the forums. I am new to this and don't have privileges to do much. I purchased an extended warranty from the dealership and I am just around 40k miles so I should still be covered under the manufacturers warranty(If the sensor is even covered). I am waiting to hear back from the dealership, they have the car now replacing one of the vent clips. They were trying to charge me $95 just to do the diagnostic. When I purchased the extended warranty I was told diagnostics would be covered. They are "looking into it now".

I've only ever owned small cars and yes, small size does give cars an inherent advantage allowing them to be more responsive and tossable, and therefore more fun.

You should introduce yourself in a separate thread, then get your 10 post in, then you'll be able to post your issues in the appropriate forums elsewhere on this site.
Also, you'll get better search-hits if you do a Google search rather than the search option on this site.

And yes, any diagnostic for a known issue should be covered under your extended warranty.
