I know this post is old but I would like to add my 2 cents, I have a 2014 rs that still had 100 days warranty left from a 3rd party warranty, clutch had this problem and i took it to the dealer! They said that the 3rd warranty party would take care of it, so i left it in their hands... instead of replacing the problematic part they decided to lubricate! Now! 3 months later and after my warranty was over the noice came back.
Took it back to the dealer and since the repair has a year warranty they said that they would re grease, two months after the noice is still back and still under the dealer repair warranty but they claim that even tho originally gm manuals requested that re greasing was the way to go, now they feel they should change the hole pedal assembly and that i should pay for it! Because now is just going to be a re-occurring issue! Now... im still with in my year dealer warranty but im about to have the battle of my life with this dealer! I feel they should have replaced from the beginning rather than repair! Im i getting screwed here? It feels like it...

I remember I had a squeaking pedal too. I fixed it by grabbing a can of WD-40 and a not so nice cloth. So basically you're gonna open your door nice and wide and get on your knees so you can see under the clutch pedal. So your pedal is going to have what looks like a shock. You know like a car shock. You're gonna put the cloth under that to cover up your carpeting and everything else. So basically here you just take the WD-40 and spray. Then you press it in a few times. If it still squeaks spray some more. That'll take care of it. I did it like 4 months ago and still no squeaks. Can't tell you that it's going to get lighter though. Mine still feels heavy.
