Self Intro and What Not.

Hey guys, my name is Andre and I bought my Sonic Lt Turbo about a week and a half ago now. It already had a lot of work done to it when I bought it i.e. Tint, exhaust, some plastidip, I think there may even be a short throw shift in there. Not totally sure about that though.

Anyways, I just moved to Georgia from Hawaii and I'm looking forward to driving around, learning some new car info and improving my Sonic to what I eventually want her to be at. I guess I'll post some pics of her now. Thanks for reading!!

I spy the ZZP exhaust tip there. Is it the cat-back or the turbo back, or something in between?

I have absolutely no idea what exhaust that is lol. Everything that is on this car came with it when I bought it two weeks ago. Including a bunch of residual bumper stickers left on by the previous owner, who was a chick. So they all have to do with princess this and girl that. I have no idea how to remove them aside from replacing the rear windshield.

Know how you remove them? You take it back down to the dealer and make them clean your new car properly lol.

If they won't do that I'd be pissed but easy enough you can use googone and will wipe it off with some elbow grease.

They tried removing it, they even used a razor to try and scrape it off. Its some sort of imprint left from them, almost like it was baked into the window itself. There's no residue from the stickers, we checked inside and out. Its basically just a shadow of what was there. Only other thing I could think of is if the stickers were put on and THEN the window was tinted, leaving them under it, but I doubt that's it either.

I was pretty annoyed that they were visible but there was nothing the dealer could do. Also, you can't really see them unless you're specifically looking for it.

Dealer has things he can do. You bought the car sans imperfections and they certified it was reviewed and made good as new. Then they need to replace the back window. I'd go raise hell say it interferes with your vision while driving and they need to put a new window in or figure how to remove the stains.

That's not that large of a request to give you a car that isn't banged up. If it was a dent from previous owner they'd pull and fix that so this is no different in my eyes.

I'd have to drive all the way back up to New York for that, and while it would be fun road trip, I don't have the time for that. Plus it really isn't that big of a deal for me, I can't see them at all while I'm driving, and I plan to cover them up anyways.

Thanks for the tip though. I've never really been good at raising hell, I'm more of a "let it go" type of person.
