15,000 miles on my 2017 and no problems.

Just did tire rotation. Turns out you need a tire sensor relearn tool.
Just so you guys know: The $20 one from Amazon works just fine, no reason to spend more.

Have purchased the GM Performance FE3 dampers. Should get those installed in a couple of weeks. Will let you all know if they actually change anything.

There are a couple of annoying things though:

1.
No power outlet anywhere near the windshield and the one provided is not switched, so cannot conveniently plug in radar detector, GPS, or camera. I can't believe GM did that.

But I am planning to install an auto-dimming mirror, so when I do that I will also run a power feed up to the camera as well. It will be slick to have a hard-wired camera.

2.
No tempurature guage. Does this bother you guys? I really like to know when the engine is up to temp, esp in winter.

I see you've completed a few mods which would lend well to tune. Are you planning to get a tune? I think there are a lot of people unhappy with the lack of temperature gauge. I've heard a band-aid is to get an Ultragauge, but I think I read a few people splicing into a line and running a temperature gauge that way.

I have a MY17 also and I'm happy to hear your experience has been good so far!

I use snow tires on separate rims, it would be nice to reprogram cheaply. Thanks!

Agree about the temp gauge. My mother's Subaru Impreza at least has a temp light that stays on until the engine is warmed up, that would be at least something.

GM gives you the first two scheduled required services for free. When I bought my 2015 Sonic it was 4.

No temp gauge is bad in Michigan. But, I have figured out that if you do a remote start and let it run it shuts down when it gets up to temp. Then you just get it and its warm.

Yes dannyg, I think that is the one I got. Worked fine.

A tune might be nice, but I don't know. If I had the $$ I would get the GM exhaust that comes with a tune. It's pretty spendy but is GM (warranty) approved and gets you 10% power boost.

For me it's more about the way the power is delivered, than a lack of power. It seems the computer values smoothness above all else and never really gives you all the power at once, ever, even with an aggressive downshift into 4500 rpm and full throttle. Always seems like it's gradually turning up the rheostat. Custom tune would probably help with that.

Also, as it turns out, the cigarette lighter on my 2017 is switched with the ignition, but still annoying that it is at the back of the center console.

Correct. The "air loss" method works on older GM TPMS systems, not the newer ones. It works on my 2009 G6 and is even specified in the owner's manual and shop manual as a way to do it (along with the tool being the other option).
