Black wheels look good - is that cyber gray paint? That is my hatch's color. Also, Did you remove the black tape from the door pillars? If so, how hard is that? Looks very nice w/o the tape.

Thanks gnonne. The paint is black granite. It's not hard to remove the tape, I just heated it up with a hair dryer.

Hey SnotRocketRS, Mentioned earlier they were 18s. That was wrong, those are the 17s. sorry. The wheels are 17x8, tires are 215/45 (continental true contact), which makes a slight stretch, but they fit !!. also have 3/16" spacers.

Sunday Funday.

Ported an intake manifold today. A tuned sonic owner that lives by me was having car issues, so we discovered he had lost his check valve at 35,000 miles. Yesterday we swapped him in a new one, and I asked if I could buy the old since he didn't care for it and here we are. All cleaned up and tumblers cleared/smooth as can be. Next step will be adding the PCV mod sometime in next couple days.

Turned out better than I expected.

Finally dipped my rims and front chrome. Messed up while peeling so took the dip off the chrome around the bowtie. Was surprised at how not bad it looked. I'll decide if I redip it when I do the chrome headlight rings next weekend.

I drive long commutes daily, and my Air Intake Temperatures we’re getting high. I have a K&N typhoon air intake. I did some research and didn’t want to run any air vents by drilling out the fog light inserts. I ran into this online and figured I’d give it a try. Intake temperatures are about 7 degrees over ambient now consistently, which is HIGE over what it was before...
The wrap is gold plated heat reflective tape, you can find it at almost any auto parts store.

I used both fog lights with rubber tubing to the intake and it runs 0-2° above ambient even when it's 120° ambient!

Finally. LLumar, just the basic stuff. Did only the side windows in lightest tint. Didn't want to mess with nighttime rear visibility. Can't really tell the rear isn't done unless looking at it straight on.
