Hey all,
So I have a 2014 RS just over 100k miles. Looking into building for SCCA ST class auto cross next year.
I have an extensive list of ZZP, BNR and Trifecta "wants" i'd like to do over the winter in preparation for next spring. But it got me thinking everything im looking at doing is about $3,000 US.
I'm able to pick up a 2.0 LTG for roughly $1800-2200 US which would provide more gains then the work i'd planned in the engine.
Has anyone looked into swapping the 1.4 for the 2.0 ecotec?
I'd searched the forums but havent seen a thread on this yet.
My thought being that the two setups aren't that different, possibly the largest difference will be the exhaust manifold fitment. And possibly engine mounts.
