Oil cooked by 3k

Ever since purchasing my 2012 LS 2.5 yrs ago now it has consistently cooked it's Mobile-1 5w-30 by 3k. Shouldn't I be making it to at least 5k?

It does leak about a quart a month though I always top it off and never let it get to the top of the lower hash marks on the dip stick.

1.8 (LS doesn't come with 1.4).

It looks and smells cooked very much unlike how my acura or lexus looks after 3k.

The only safe recommendation I can think of is to send a sample to a company that does used oil analysis.

Backyard oil diagnosis usually boils down to: "Chunks in oil? No good!", "No chunks in oil? Keep driving!".
