I knew the green dragon would have some input, thanks man. I hadn't seen that one. Im in need of new tires and really want a rally style rim to put new rubber on. I'll keep looking but Im probably going to have to get some adapters, curse you GM!

I was tired of silver on my black sonic. Dipped 'em flat black, in case I want to go back. 6 coats and they're ready to go on once it stops snowing here in Colorado. I'll come back for final shot once I have them mounted.

What paint did you use if you don't mind I have some XxR wheels they look very similar 17.8.25 22mm offset there in the box dip your car .com has the bronze is that what you used ?

Those look good on the grey Sonic! My JNC014s are scheduled to arrive Friday. Looking forward to getting those 17x9.25s on my car lol. Will post pictures as soon as I get them mounted.

They finally came in! Hoping to get them mounted this weekend if it all pans out.

So after test fitting them I found out that there’s small clearance issues. The rear wheels just barely rub on the fender liner that is just below the rear shock. The front wheels clear everything, but it’s really close for comfort so I’ve got a pair of 5mm spacers on the way to see if it will be enough to fix these issues and if they are I’ll order another pair. If not, then I’ll be ordering longer wheel studs for the rear and a little thicker spacer. Once I get the tires I want mounted on them I’ll have a much better idea of what I’m working with and can make modifications accordingly. But here’s some pictures from the test fit to prove that the hassle will be totally worth it. [emoji851]

I stayed with the factory wheels, just went with a wider tire. BF GOODRICH 225/45/18.No issues with rubbing or fitment. I have the 2015 Sonic ( DUSK ) edition.

I have thought about lowering my car to remove the unsightly gap, but I really enjoy throwing my car around with my studded snow tires on during the winter here in Colorado and just don't want to give up the ground clearance when I head up to the mountains. [emoji848]
