Not too Bad!!

Well just bought this 5 days ago. Took on a 160 mile drive yesterday. some freeway some 2 lane. Driving fairly easy. Got 38.1 mpg. Hand calculated. Trip computer said 38.7. So I can rejoice in the fact that I am driving a car that gets better mpg than the one I traded in.

Wife gets 26 to 28 MPG or so in her 6 miles drive to work daily with the 1.8L and we are happy with that. Wish she had a longer drive. It's bad in winter when engine barely gets to warm up much.

For highway, we are usually get 29 to 32 MPG depending on whether we drive 65 or +70 MPH.

Sometimes I wish for a 1.4L turbo. . .. but also glad I don't have worries about the associated well known 1.4L Turbo potential PCV and other 4 or 5 issues.
