Loving this new Sonic.

GM did a great job on the 2017 refresh. New front end and rear design take it to where this car always could be. And the interior dash upgrades are a bonus.

Some don't know, but the LT Hatch has the 1:3.47 final drive which allows even the 1.8L to pull smooth and even. This seems like a larger car when driving but sporty and fun handling and nice to cruise on the highway.
Very quiet ride also in this one we have. Love the Cajun Red !

The Cajun Red color is beautiful. I have a white 17 LT RS hatch and I love it. I used to dislike the LT wheels, but they really do look great when they're clean and shiny.

If you ever want to change the look of the car, I think you should consider getting the roof covered with black vinyl. I had that done to mine and I really think it elevates the look of the whole car.

I have the same ‘17 RS as you. Cajun Red Tintcoat. Looks great in the sunlight and at night. I re-sprayed the interior trim and headliner black and had leather seating installed.

Yep . . still lovin' ours.
Running good even after a white tail deer tired to "slip under" it on the interstate.
$3,400 repair and pushed in the lower fascia, radiator, A/C condenser and smashed the radiator fan plus some bit parts.
Repair went well and our daily driver.

This forum has gone down hill. Since the forum software upgrade some 2 years ago, all my album photos and pictures in threads are GONE !
I messaged Admin about it last September 2021 and they said they are "working on it" .
Other things do not work right since then either.
