Dang...big hit. Airbags go off? Had a deer hit my rear driverside d pillar on my 2013 Hatchback winter on 2022 sucker had my rear end kick out about 90° luckily I saved her by counter steering to the right and pedaling the throttle. Whole rear axle beam shifted 2 inches to the right.had to re weld the rear axle housing and reinforce the axle connection.

I never got pictures, but a deer ran into our 2019 ( on a very rainy afternoon ) and slid across the instate lane and hit very low.
Nowhere near the damage you sustained.

The deer hit the lower bumper fascia, pushed the A/C condenser coil, radiator back into the engine and busted the radiator fan all up. The we dragged it stuck under the Sonic for 150 feet while steering off to the road side and it finally slid out from behind the car.

The engine, A/C and radiator were still running and worked all the way back home 15 miles !

It was about $3,400 in repair in 2020.

Suggestion. . . . make sure to tell the body shop you want the ALL body parts including the plastic lower bumper fascia primed FIRST (light gray primer) and then the color base coat applied and then final clear coat.
They did not do a primer coat on ours the first time . .. grrrr.

OH _ _ _ VERY Important .. . ask that any and all vital parts . .. like radiator, A/C coil, fan, etc be Genuine GM parts and not USED salvage parts. Some insurance companies tell them to use "available parts".
I paid $300 more to make sure I got a NEW OEM radiator, A/C coil and cooling fan. Otherwise I would have gotten who knows what.

Yeah this was $9400+ and I'm so grateful for insurance, for sure.
This shop only uses new brand parts for internals, mechanical, etc, and their basic service always includes primer coats, that's why I chose them.
I'm ordering my own new LED bulbs and they're going to reimburse me, since they kinda missed that they were different, plus if they try and order them, they'll likely get ones too long to fit the chambers with the waterproofing cap needing to close behind them.

Nah, no AB deployment. I YEETED the deer into the mailbox of the house to the right, though, but the owner was chill and wanted nothing to do with insurance, saying "I've been meaning to replace that old thing anyway!"
This is the 5th deer that we've hit or has hit one of our cars since we moved here 6y ago.
