sorry to hear of your inconveniences ("caught up in an investigation...")
!
But this is my suggestion to temporize: What if you'll shortly send the headrest to board member 'Eric.Smit' (also living in TX as you) for a fitment check whilst waiting for the decision `bout this goddam investigation? PM him for eventually s/h costs sharing and thereby supporting the other interested members !!??

Removing the rear headrests was not my first mod. The rims and tires preceded the headrest removal by at least 24 hours.

be sure to make sure they are correct though there is no picture but the part number is the same

Just had to mention!
Those headrests are shaped exactly like the rear headrests in my Honda Fit.
On a humorous note... anyone ever notice they're kind of reminiscent of the heads of the original Clone Army (the Battle Droid clones -- centuries) in, I think it was 'The Phantom Menace'?
Look at them from an angle or from the side...
If I raise them in the back of my Fit and see them in the rear-view mirror at night, it always looks like I have Clone Droids heads sitting on my rear seat backs!
