Thanks for the RS pricing. With destination it looks like 21,017, just over a thousand more than I thought it would be (19,995) but if Chevy ever gets around to adding Rally Yellow or its equivalent, I'm in.

05/31/2012 (1102) Order entered via web.
06/04/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.
06/05/2012 (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system.

Yup. 2012. I really wished it had gotten shipped before the 2 week shut down. It was soooo close.

I noticed that. Takes 22 hours from beginning to finish and Orion works two ten hour shifts, so it was somewhere on the line when the summer break occurred. But its done and should be on the train heading in your direction very soon.

Its a torture chamber of impatience. I ordered mine at the end of may. It just left the factory on July 17th. I hope to get it by Aug 4th before I leave town for a week.
My advice is not to speculate dates of progress, just sit back and let it happen. Otherwise you'll risk driving yourself crazy like me.

But the speculating and the worrying is half the fun! Takes 2 to 3 weeks to get from southeastern Michigan to California. There are a very few that have moed quicker. A very few.

GMConnects is no longer available for tracking online. Does your dealer know anything. I hope you receive it soon, the torture of waiting....it's so close!

I plan to have a hitch installed for my bike rack, but not ordering it until the car arrives. And I need to figure out a solution to making usable storage out of that mini shelf in the back of the hatchback. Netting was my initial thought, but shipping costs more than the net and I refuse to pay it. When the GPS app is released for myLink I will get that, because I have no sense of direction.
Other than that, I expect my Sonic will be perfect when it finally arrives! Also, that is about the extent of my "installing" capabilities and budget.

Right around Labor Day. The first 2-3 weeks of production will be bayed for QC and then all will start moving almost at the same time. Your third week build could very easily be on the same truck/train as another's first week build.
Your dealer must be one of the smaller dealers around.
