You do not need to do anything. Allocation is subject to "passes" but a retail sold order that has no constraints will be picked before a store order. GM can tell when it is a retail sold order, so no concern there. Allocation is the number of a car that can be ordered by a particular dealer. I make this process sound easy, but believe me I am simplifying the living daylights out of it. The complexity is related to each state having their own franchise laws AND court suits. If your dealer is given one allocation and you are the only retail sold order you get picked first even if the dealer has a handful of store orders. This was not always true and the fact that it is true now is a good thing.
I am a HD Radio fan, in my opinion a much better/more complete sound than XM or FM so I am looking forward to your assessment.
