So ive been following this car for almost 8 months now and im so excited for it. But the fact still remains that im 6 foot 10 and fitting in little cars has always been very uncomfortable and not worth everyday driving. Yet when i sold cars at a chevy dealer my demo was an aveo and i always said if i could just get some more power in that car i would but it. So my question is, does anyone think i can fit in the manual version? has anyone sat in one? yes i know they just went into production but they have been at shows

Malone, I sat in one at the New York auto show back in March, but I'm not much help, I'm 5' 9". Did DC have a car show this spring?

I'm 6'1" and I fit fine. I'm not monster like you, but I would bet you'd fit. Teat drives are key.

Seat Adjustment Height

Fortunately, there is a Seat Height Adjustment Lever (driver-side only) in all Sonic models. Push the lever down to lower it and pull/pump up to raise it.
Hopefully, lowering it should give you enough clearance to fit

If it helps, I'm 6'7 and don't find it any more constricting than any other car. My other car is a Mitsu Outlander, and previously had a Ford Windstar, if that helps judge my perspective. The height adjust helps a lot, as does the telescoping and tilting steering wheel (especially the telescoping) which helps with "knee conflicts" (I sit normal height, it's all in my legs - I'm like that character Wilt in "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends" ).

My son is 5'10 and wide, and sits in the passenger front, with my 5'2" wife behind him in the back seat (he gets motion sickness in back seats so that's pretty typical). They're fine on multi-hour drives. This car really does ride like a much larger car, you don't really notice you're inside a subcompact.

6'7'' here. I fit just fine.
