I just installed the SLP HB exhaust on my Sedan. I still need to figure out the tailpipe though (going to install a dumped style tailpipe like stock). I'm running the resonator and muffler. Pipe diameter is 2 1/2" front to back. Also running the DDM test pipe with stock front cat/down pipe. Once the tailpipe is done (and my tune updated for all the parts) I'm done with performance parts and it's off to saving for springs (coils).

Possibly. I plan on waiting until the warranty is gone before messing with anything between the turbo and the last O2 sensor. It's not loud but I am getting a resonance/drone, I'm not sure of SBPPhoenix is getting it but he has the 1.8 HB and mine still terminates right under the trunk. I plan on pushing the tailpipe as far back as possible with out getting to close to the end of the bumper cover.

I am running 2.5" pipe with catless 2.5" downpipe. No cats, no resonator, just pipe.

The ex came by to pick me up for my sons soccer practice and she said it sounds like a rice car, but it's my car...lol. I told her it still has no tailpipe and is exhausting straight off the muffler causing resonance and a tailpipe will probably solve the problem. Either that or it's time to start swapping mufflers/resonators (I'm hoping the tailpipe solves the problem! It did on my SS Silverado).

I'm actually trying to reduce "because Race Car!!!"!!lol I like the flow without the sound. I will post up what happens with a tailpipe. If this car makes more noise than my 5.3 with a 3" exhaust and a 18" Magnaflow I'm going to have issues.... Other than that I'm digging it, and I can't make a full assessment until it is a complete exhaust. I need to get the tune updated for the RNI, DDM test pipe and exhaust now.

Drone is minimal. Its not noticeable with the windows down. Though I do have the tailpipe sticking out a bit. Try adjusting the muffler, getting it as far out as possible without possibility of leak. Having a better flowing intake should help as well.

Yeah, mine is terminating under the trunk which isn't helping at all. I think with the tailpipe pushed as far back as well that will help. I am also considering dyno matting under the trunk cover.

No, not yet. I got it installed just in time to get showered and head to my boy's soccer practice. I am really wanting to get a tailpipe on it before making a clip, I did through the double walled tip on it to try and reduce some of the resonance but it only helped a little. I'm thinking that adding the extra length of pipe turned down like the factory tailpipe will help a lot). I will also have to see if I can borrow a buddies GOPro to get some video, it should be better than my iPhone.

The muffler is in the exact same place on the HB and sedan. The trunk makes the sedan longer making an extended tailpipe required which is what I will be working on and about 10 minutes. I'm going to check out the parts stores and if I don't find anything I will order tailpipe kit from Pype's off of Jegs.
