I'm trying to intall new speakers in my sedan but I can't get the freaking window handle off. I tried the search function but I can't find anything about it. Please help!
There is probably a thin metal c-clip. If you push the panel in gently you should be able to see if there is a clip. Then get a panel removal tool for c-clips or I have used needle nose pliers, but you have to be careful.
It is at the base of the handle, and if it was installed properly and if you have the correct tool, you should place the tool behind the handle itself and push toward the "open" end.
This hastily drawn picture in paint should show what I'm talking about and the arrows show which way to push with the tool.
I ended up using a method with a shop rag I found on youtube and it worked awesome. I had both handles off in about a minute. Thanks again for the replies.
yes. the best and easiest way is runnint a rag in there, and pulling it through, kinda like you're trying to wipe grease out of it. it's easy...i can't explain it...but really it's easy. watch the video

Well, the best and easiest way is really using the tool for it. I don't know how the rag works but if it works well, that's great, but the tool is literally so easy to use it probably takes more time to grab the rag than it does to use the tool.
