ofer on Camaro5 has gotten the part numbers to upgrade the 2010-12 Camaros to MyLink, which version has GPS and takes the addition of a GPS antenna. A Camaro is not a Sonic but if the upgrade can be done for a Camaro I suspect it can be done for a Sonic.
He has developed upgrades to add Head Up Display to Camaros that did not have it and Chevrolet continues to say it can not be done. He also has kits to add back up display but as far as I know Chevy does not say that such an upgrade is a not doable. He only uses OEM parts but sometimes has to modify wiring harnesses etc.
Maybe someone on this forum can follow his example and get the part numbers to see if it can be done to a Sonic.

Running through the options on this, if you select the 1.4 engine, it deselects the 5 speed manual transmission... but doesn't show that you've selected the 6 speed manual instead.
I'm not clear why the 5 speed is on the list, since you've selected that by picking LT manual at the beginning of the sequence... but if they are going to show it, why not show the 6 speed as well?
Also, Mylink is listed as a $200 option on the LT, I thought the big upgrade of the 2013 was going to be Mylink... but it seems it was just that it becomes an option.
Going to 16" wheels (nominally free) requires either a fog lamp package ($345) or a painted wheels package ($995)

A parts guy at chevy and i went to town on the sonic malibu spark and the equinox and we still cant find part numbers for the mylink. If an upgrade becomes available it isnt right now. I want it for sure if i can get it. Wouldnt be fair to have a car only a few months to not be allowed that option

A different model year is not considered a few months it is considered a new year and thats when usually when all the next updates go into place.

I got the 15' rims and the list price for the dealer added fog lamps was $320, I think, but the fog lamps was part of the deal so I don't know the actual charge.
