Tentative RS Order Date

I see what happened, the dealer put it through as a stock not as a sold order, but may have converted it to a retail sold order. That might be where the priority 2 comes in. I know they can do that, but the details that come with doing the conversion I do not know.

But in the end, you are waiting for your dealer to get allocation, and if only 150 or less are being given each week it may be a while. I am thinking since you did not get a TPW today you should be getting an early November TPW.

Good news. You could be at 3400 w/in the next few days. As I see it, you are on schedule for your 10/22 TPW.

Sorry just got back from a 7 day cruise and didn't have any Internet service. It appears that it has changed to manual transmission now (much to my relief), and I'm at 3300 with a TPW of 10/15. Getting pretty excited!

Mustangkillr, I am thinking you are at 3400 possibly as of Monday or Tuesday, which is when the VIN is set but not released until the vehicle has rolled off the final trim line.

With GMConnects still not working you may need to contact your salesperson. Matt from Chevrolet Customer Service has indicated he will, I think you need to PM him.

I am trying to get a section on this forum where updates can be requested and Sonic-Mike agreed it was a good idea but he has not created it yet.

There were 2 dates in the TPW column for some reason. Both 10/22/2012 and 11/5/2012 But the estimated delivery was 11/19/2012.

I used to own a 2002 Z28 and I used to frequent LS1tech and this was the username I used. I just brought it over.

Also, my order has allegedly dropped down to 3000... This was the email I got from my dealer.

"It looks like your car has now been scheduled for production the week of December 3rd. That is slower than I had hoped. Maybe it will get moved up if they get the assembly line moving a little faster. It is code 3000."

What the hell?

So Mr. Oldman ordered an RS with an automatic transmission (I remember the heat we gave him for ordering an automatic) and his is assembled and per report on the way to the dealer. Meanwhile several members ordered manual transmission RS Sonics, and have had their TPWs bumped two or three weeks. I suspect the manual trans must either be on the way or there may be an engineering (quality check) problem.
