In the works with Howie from HEPerformance down in PA. Should hopefully be the first 1.8L turbo on the streets within a month or two. Can't wait! I'll keep everyone posted on the progress!

I'm excited to smoke everything around. I'll be able to compete with WRXs and stuff. It'll be awesome being a sleep. Honestly I don't care about warrantys and what not. I'm here to have fun. I'm young so why not.

Price for total kit looks like $4000. Me being the first car they will work on it will be $6500 but I'll meet them half way so it'd be $3250. I'm still confused on why it'd be so expensive but I know for a fact they have to basically test everything and fit it all so its understandable. Let me know on your opinions. They think some Cruze turbo parts from the kit they have for it should bolt up.

^^maybe. See how much power they can push on stock internals?? I'm thinking it will be a low boost kit unless rods, pistons, and myabe crank..
Either way its awesome there is someone already working on a turbo kit for the 1.8 and I'm sure you will get a very nice boost in power.

Pistons and Rods would be the weak link I would imagine. Some engines have very stout cranks to begin with. Guys have pushed 2.4L LD9s to well over 350 WHP on stock cranks. I think the highest is 550 WHP. I have my doubts about the stock 1.8 crank holding up to that much abuse, but I dont see why it wouldnt be good for at least double stock levels.

Lancaster area but it is $3,500 if anyone wants to do it first lol. I'm not sure if I'm volunteering my Sonic as the first one to make the kit when I can just wait till its done and get it for $3,900. He really isn't giving me a deal.
