Aftermarket BOV

Yeah, that's essentially saying that when you close the throttle body the air needs somewhere to go, the BPV (Bypass Valve) reroutes it back into the turbo inlet and reuses the metered air (usually causing no tuning issuses and why you will not need tuning for the BNR BPV, the BOV (Blow Off Valve) does the same thing as the BPV but instead of recirculating the air and dumps it out and since the system is losing the metered air it will affect the fueling of the car and cause driveability issues. With the Budget tune or Premium tune with ECP you will be able to run either without having to have the car tuned specifically for the BOV.

A BOV wouldn't really be needed unless you upgraded to a bigger turbo, but its sounds cool. lol now let's wait and see if someone goes "fast and furious" on this mod and places a LED in a vented hood to get that "bull snort" effect with the blow off gas.

Do you have the Budget tune or Premium tune? If budget yes, if premium contact BNR if purchased from Jerry or put in a service request on WOT-Tuning.com asking to verify if ECP is in your tune. A few of us where given the ECP tuning for testing which is why we have it.

They sent me the ecp tune and I had bought the premium tune....so I also have select a tune. I wonder if the bov would still work right in eco mode?

I appreciate the work you've done but it just seems easier to go with the Forge and get basically the same results... Honestly I'm not too concerned about my BOV being really loud.

It should work fine in eco mode. ECP is across your tune, not just power mode.

I did this because there was no other options available at the time, I didn't want to wait, and I certaintly didn't want to wait for a push type. I don't like messing with springs.
