TTR Solid Trans Mount

Let me start by saying that I consider TTR's solid motor mount to be one of the more dramatic performance upgrades I've done to my Sonic.

A while back, TTR responded to requests of making a solid transaxle mount, by saying they would wait to see what kind of interest builds for the solid motor mount.

Well it appears to me that a 'solid' interest has built and I would like to get behind a new movement to push for the trans mount, if TTR is not already developing one as we speak.

Good thread... However to be fair, and to make sure members are truely supportive, those who state they want one, should already be able to state they have and use our upper engine mount...

Good point. I have one, and WILL buy the other if it becomes available.

I want to give you guys credit for backing the clutch request too. I realize it's easy for the members here to shout out they want something only to not buy it when the vendors respond.

I WILL buy the stage 3 clutch from TTR, likely by the year's end.

If the price is simlar to the top mount I will buy one.

I don't have the top mount yet, but depending on what I can get lined up today I may buy one today. If I had a credit card it would be mine but cash or check doesn't exactly work via internet :/

If the trans mount helps with traction and doesn't vibrate like the top mount I would be game. The vibrations are something that I'm not ready to deal with in my daily driver. That's the only reason I do not have a top mount.

Been using the engine mount in my Cobalt for nearly two years. It's daily driven. It's just something you learn to live with. If you don't, you probably never will. I wouldn't consider removing the mounts...unless I sell the car because it's worth the vibration for the gains.

That's my dilemma. I'm not sure I want to deal with it every time I fire up the car.

oh, I am 100% certain that it would be a fantastic product with great gains, I just couldn't personally do it. the engine mount was fantastic, I just couldn't deal with the vibes.

Not entirely true.

I have no intention of upgrading either upper mounts. But would purchase a torque mount without hesitating.

1. You make no sense.
2. There is only 1 upper engine MOUNT.
3. A torque mount will stop less movement than an upper mount, yet have just as many vibs.

I have no idea why you would state what you did?

The upper mount controlls most of the movement....

TTR I am trying to order the mount and springs. Can't get all the way to check out! I make it to the shipping calculator and then get kicked back to the intial checkout screen.

I'm not seeing any errors, any thoughts? Trying a few things right now but figured i'd drop aline here and see if u or anyone has suggestions

I bet it is the browser you are using... Try another browser... Cookies must be enabled...

PM sent on here, I'm running google chrome on my friends comp and cookies appear to be enabled but i added TTR to the exception list anyways

Just bought the upper mount today so I obviously haven't used it yet but I've read up a lot on it and can confidently say that I would buy a tranny mount as well.
