TTR Solid Trans Mount

A question: would the solid trans mount function similarly to the way a lower engine mount functions? If not, would a lower engine mount to accompany the upper engine mount be a logical choice?

I don't think there is a lower mount, GMPD only shows a trans and upper mount.

If only we had a hidden mount ninja we could ask.

Picture the engine and the trans as a single unit. That unit has 1 upper mount and 1 lower mount.

this question is for ttr do you guys have a warranty on these trans mounts. the poly filling keeps coming out and causing problems with my car wanna say its heling the cv axle to pop out. I have to pull it out readjust the poly filling then rebolt. Just curious cause i would like to sent this one back for a newer one that doesnt want to keep coming out I have had it for less than a year? thanks

Installed my ttr trans mount today. I was shocked at how sloppy the oem mounts are! The install was quick, easy, and I have to say I like the vibration that is there… although minuscule.

Me being impatient I had to install my motor mount last night. It was pretty cold and snowing but I got it done. I had to remove my K&N filter and heat shield before I could even start the swap. After that it was a walk on the park. Once I removed the final bolt holding the mount to the engine I had a mini heart attack because the engine shifted a bit and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to reinstall the mount by myself. But I was able to get it back in place with a nice little push. Can't wait to get the trans mount on now.
