finally....sprint moving into 4g in my area

just thought i would go ahead and brag a little...i've been a 4g customer for almost 4 years now. and i've been paying the 'premium data' fee for about that long and have NEVER had 4g except my trips to atlanta...and it was spotty if anything.

so i looked into the maps for my area and there's a tower that's being upgraded and it's gonna be done in january....HOPEFULLY...and i'll have 4gLTE before the next door major metropolitan areas. plus, i'll be able to use my phone as a modem in my house, so no more time warner hopefully as well.

any way....i'll get off my pedistal now and let everyone rant and vent about sprint's crappy services.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, They are going to broadcast LTE on the same spectrum they ran WiMax on and it has really bad penetration qualities. Hopefully they can move to a better spectrum soon and that can solve allot of issues. I wouldn't plan on dropping your home service right away, Running your home network from a cellphone isn't practical its fine from time to time when you need it on the go though.

When I had sprint I never got 4g service even when I was in areas the map said got 4g.

hopefully things will change (for my sprint service, not world domination). this guy is taking a gamble and is turning things around. idk his total ambitions but i hope he takes sprint services and shoves them up verizon's @$$. i had their services for 13 days, and was charged 375 bucks for it. wonder how bad they would have raped me if i kept the plan. and it's even worse now with the 'family friendly' plans...

i got issues with verizon. most of my friends have their service though and i congratulate them on their luck. my brother has ATT and he's happy with the service except he busts the limit all the time. i use so much data and i didnt get into the verizon unlimited plans while i had my chances...so i'll stick with my $70 plan for unlimited EVERYTHING and crappy services for now. when it works it works great. when it doesnt i just borrow a friend's verizon phone and hope i dont go over their limit
