So I have a leak in my back rear seal. I have a sonic 2013 1.8 lt. has anyone ever used the blue devil to stop the leak a mechanic told me it was not good for the engine not sure if he is right? Thoughts would be wonderful!

Hi! So I had the p0128 code/ cooling temp. It actually keeps turning on and off. Could that mean it’s just my t-stat? Has any one else had the code turn on and off? I have a 2013 1.8l. Any help is appreciated! I would hate not to just replace the t-stat and not do the housing unit at the same time.

so was your car still warming up before you replaced the thermostat?

This code has popped up for me it said cooling temp p0128! Now it went away for a few weeks but just came back on and I can’t see any issues the heat in the car is working and no over heating. Wondering if anyone has been dealing with that code In their Chevy sonic 1.8.

Had the code p0171 Changed both 02 sensors. After the engine is warmed up and I come to a stop at the red light it will rough idle. Very similar to a jumping motion seems like it is hard to accelerate as well. Not sure what else to check.
