I looked again at my 14.9 slip....... 60' was a sluggish 2.42. But I think it helped me confirm that I'm shifting too late.

In this epic run, I was head-up with Wingman, and I was more focused on watching what was happening in his lane down the strip than looking at my tach. I think I shifted based on the feel of acceleration rather than actual RPM.

Also if it was one of my better take-offs, I might have seen a 14.8.
