Congratulations, now lets see that mid 13 come spring.
You got it!
I miss going to the track. It's just so hard with my job schedule, and the distance.
I'm also not sure what to run. It feels like my latest "suicide bomber" tune runs better on 91 than E85. Vince thinks the turbo is choking. It pulls harder on E85, but falls really flat before 5k, where the 91 rips the whole way.
I'd like to get at least one more track day before the turbo swap (whenever that may be), I'm pretty sure MPFab will have his done long before I do. But with my current priorities, I'm alright with that.
I just know I should be able to get much lower 14s with what I have, if I could just shift better. Some may remember, my last trip I learned the stock tach had me shifting at 7k when I thought I was shifting at 5.5k. And my 3rd gear was starting to be a brat.
With the aftermarket tach/shiftlight, properly working MZ0 and mini footballs in the rear coils, I'm confident I'll make some gains.
I've considered. But seeing how intimidating just using a PC to tune my professionally programmed tune to tune my car was, I'm terrified to program myself.
I'm a very apt mechanic when it comes to nut and bolts, welding and heavy building, but I am sadly very behind on computer skills and have zero patience for it. Even datalogging is a huge strain on my capabilities.
I have given more thought to buying a 2nd ECM and sending it to a vendor like MPFab to have HPTuned for me. That is more up my alley.

I'm currently not pursuing meth/inj.
The "suicide bomber" tune, is an update that Vince gave me in which I told him he is not liable for blowing my turbo. I thought I was doing the swap sooner than later and I didn't care if the stock turbo failed in the name of science.
So far so good. I'm holding peak boost at 23, but the spectacular/dangerous part is that I make 10-12psi down at 2k with ease.
