1.4t 6 speed clutch pedal squeak.

i got just over 20,000 on the car and every time i used the clutch it squeaked. i took it to the dealer and they lubed the assembly. that worked for about 2 weeks and the noise came back. i took it back to the dealers and they ended up replacing the clutch/brake pedal assembly. While doing the change they broke the clutch master cylinder assembly, so they had to change that also. I hope this is not a common problem..:sadbanana:

Yup already a thread on it been there done that and got the t-shirt. Mine was replaced and broke and all that too. Just expect it to be an annoyance.

this happened with my sonic. The dealership is actually replacing the clutch assembly right now...hopefully thats the last of any problems with it!

it truly sucks when stuff like this happens. in my last car (cobalt ss) there were a lot of squeaks and rattles etc., my solution was louder exhaust and louder music, didnt hear the squeaking anymore lol
