I have lurked over the cruze and this forum for awhile now after I bought my 2012 hatch with 33k on it. Right now I have an K and N panel filter and Redline MT85 which got rid of the 2nd gear grind.
I am wondering how hard it would be to build these engines to rev and have a balanced powerband. When money and I become friends I would like to get a lighter flywheel, lighter crank pulley, head from junk yard to experiment with and eventually swap out on my daily driver, bigger intercooler(mishimoto is cheap and read alot of good reviews, and turbo back exhaust with only 1 high flow cat.
I would like to build a car that would pull all the waytill about 7500,8000 RPM.
