1.4T engine noise

I got my car back! Apparently what was wrong was that one of the spark plugs were loose causing back pressure from the cylinder to escape through the spark plug area. The guy who gapped them for me said he torqued them down but guess **** happens. So odd that it took 2k+ miles for it to start doing anything tho.

Well I have an update for mine,
I took it to the dealer 2 days ago and it is still there... Water pump needed to be replaced, and the noise they can hear it but they can't fix it because they can't figure out what's wrong. They want to keep it another night.

What annoys me is that I have GM Major Guard and it states in there I can get a rental car but the dealer said no I am not able to get a rental or a courtesy car... It is becoming very annoying not having a vehicle. Worst of all they don't call me to update me I must call them, it was a day and a half with no update so I had to call to find out what they had done. Maybe I'm being picky but an update after I dropped it off with at least an estimate of time would have been nice.

My dealer tried pulling something like that. I asked them to speak to a supervisor, and voila. They said it was more of a courtesy vehicle rather than a rental for "customer convenience". But it got me to work and back and just had to add what gas I used.

Its sad you have to do that, I don't understand how they can treat someone like that who purchased a new vehicle for them.... I liked this dealer until I had to deal with the service department...
