I just feel like drums are 3rd world in these modern times.

Please weigh the rear disc parts before you install them, and weigh the drum parts after you do the swap. Please. Please. Please.


PLEASE weight them.

I will try to weigh the rotors and calipers in the next couple days. I suspect that the overall weight will be a little higher for the rotors and calipers. I am after the better brake performance for auto cross though.

Decided I didnt want raw finish parts for my rear brakes.

Using the unscientific method of getting on the scale for a weight and then getting back on with all the parts for a reweigh, I come up with 38 pounds for the whole ZZP kit. Works out to around 19 pounds per side.

Yeah you got the kit I wanted to know if they have casting numbers so I could reference them and be able to get replacements down the line.

Sub and I have think we have it all figured out, but are still not completely positive on what the parts are from.

I work for napa I have resources to interchange the casting numbers I can say from experience that the logo by the b3815 is the ATE logo so they are a import caliper most likely china, japan.

The rotor is an aftermarket part. I do not recall a number on it. Not sure if the bracket had a number on it. I can try to remember to look next time I pick up the parts.

Ill make some calls tomorrow n see if I can get the casting number on the caliper figured out ill keep you posted if your interested.

Im thinking the rotors are the rs ones affinia my supplier has no listing yet and nothing with 4.1 or 105 lug spacing well need someone with an rs to compare sizing to the kit I guess

We think they are cobalt/hhr rotors due to the fact they have 2 bolt patterns.

It would make sense, zzp deals with a lot of cobalt stuff

I think zzp is doubling down then by having the cobalt rotors drilled for the new pattern makes good business sense I guess well we down the line one general replacement rotors are available

It a well put together kit I wouldn't really piss around with trying to build my own kit. 400 is a good price I think

Im not trying to put a kit together but when a piece of the caliper goes bad or you need pad replaced u need an application. I go through this all the time trying to find application for kits for customers cars because most suppliers will not give you replacement part numbers. Just trying to help out everyone.

That is about what we had figured out as far as what some of the parts are from. My guess is that it is also a rotor for the same application. Obviously its been redrilled for a 5x105 pattern though.

Still waiting for a front upgrade to come out that fits inside the stock 15" wheels.
