1000 mile mark

Just rolled over to 1000 miles today on my '13 1.8 Auto LT hatch! Haven't had any problems at all. Gas mileage seems to be getting better and better.

On my last Amazon prime order, I ordered an AC Delco oil filter to prepare for the first oil change.

I'm thinking of doing the first oil change around the 2000-3000 mile mark. Any comments on this?

Sooner the better for the first one. Keep with the oem filter and all will be good

Not having any issues at 1k miles is like saying that you haven't failed any classes a week into the school year.

Even my Sonic made it past 1k miles to have the first issue and I consider mine one of the early ones that had a bunch of bugs in the first model year. My driver side strut let go at 1200 miles or so. :lol:

I guess I'm used to electronics failing. Generally, most electronics, especially hard drives will fail during the first few weeks. If they do not, they usually last a long time.
