2012 sonic ls turbo DV or BOV??

Hey guys how can i get the BOV sound from the 1.4T? Im 99% sure it has a diverter valve but want the BOV sound, is there space or adapter?

Also if anyone has a diagram/info/size on the turbo on these cars please share

Not even close, there isn't even an upgraded BPV out yet. BNR has one in the works though (BPV that is).

Also what intake would you recommend? Want one with most HP gains and nice intake sound at a good price.

ZZP or DDMWorks.

Don't even think about Injen.

If all you want is the sound, just get an intake. No need for you to go all out like I did and get a new BOV. If you look at the thread that was linked, you'll find a video of my BOV. On my channel I have a video of just an intake, and you can hear the psh of the stock bypass valve.

There is a thread where a member got a scraped turbo off a car, I can't recall the name of the thread but it was self explanatory and I belive in the 1.4t engine thread.

Honeywell garret makes it, some of the info is stamped on the header underneath the heat shield.

As RDSS stated erics your best bet about a blow off valve as he's the only one running one.

DDM and ZZP appear to have the best intakes, there is some debate to which one is better

But to reiterate, there is a bypass valve stock, and it's located on the passenger side of the turbo.

It's that little black piece with the 3 bolts.
