2014 sonic clutch changes

I have heard that the 2014 clutch is stronger then the 12-13 model.Anybody have any more info on the change and perhaps a part number?

In 2014 GM performance parts catalog it reads that if you were to install a 93 octane tune and associated performance parts for your sonic that its recommended you upgrade to a 2014 clutch. So I assume the 2014 clutch is more robust.

That is how I originally interpreted the referenced language and that could very well be correct, but on reflection I wonder if/when these products come to market the '14 will have the same caveat.

Chevrolet has an easily documented history of announcing performance products that never see the light of day or coming to market years after announcement. Do I think these will be made? A big fat maybe and a caution that you not hold your breath while waiting. But that is just me and my attitude; for all I know each of these products will be in stock before the month is out.

But I doubt it.
