Hello Group. I'm going to try a belly pan to increase my MPG on the highway. I'm near 3000 rpms at 70-75mph and have been reading up on the benefits. Maybe after I paint the calipers.

The pan is not very expensive. GM part number: 95016301 $75.00-$110.00.

I'd like to hear the pros/cons of the results....

UPDATE ON THE EIBACHS:

I went over to my mechanics yesterday to pay him the rest of the money for installing the springs. He remarked that it had settled and sure enough I scraped on the road getting out of his driveway and I didn't right after he had installed them. I like them right where they are. I hope they don't settle anymore...I'm low enough!

Ok, I made a deal with Joe, my mechanic/fabricator to paint my calipers gold this month (March). We're going to wait for it to warm up.

Also, I think I've got a job. So, my mod schedule will become accelerated over the next few months as the checks come in. First thing I'm doing is buying the Mach M7's so I can get them painted GunMetal. Just got to pick a color now. I'm pushing the sub back until I can get these wheels and tires out of the way. I'm also having some HID projectors with Angel Eyes built by Tony Win of Retrofit WIN on facebook. Check him out.

Yes Sir. I found them for $665 shipped, no tax and Discount Tire couldn't come within $175 of that price. I applied for Paypal credit and got it. I've got the wheels and a set of headlights sitting in a cart just waiting for the check from my new job to come in the mail. I'm going to use the credit and then keep the money in the bank and work it that way. Pay them off over the next 12 months interest free. Right now I'm picking a color. Duplicolor has a metallic grey but automotivetouchup.com has every manufacturer's paint so I'm checking out the German companies like Porsche and Audi to see what metallic greys they have. This is more fun than I thought.

If you can believe it GM doesn't sell their wheel paint and no one else has it.

I'm really feeling the bronze with red calipers...decisions, decisions, decisions...

I love shopping. So, as I retire for the night I'm going to go with bronze wheels and red calipers. I can always paint them gunmetal later if I want a change. We'll see.

Man, I got suckered. I got a lead for a job from careerbuilder.com and thought I had a job. Well these guys were scam artists and sent me a bogus check and then asked me to Western Union some of the money to Cambodia before the check had cleared. I would have been out over $2000.00US if my bank wasn't so badass. I turned them into the FBI cyber-crime division yesterday and now I'm going to lead them on for a week or two and see what happens. I really wanted those wheels, but now they're just going to have to wait.

On a positive note, I dropped the hammer on my caliper paint and some sand-blasting media and also the Kicker system I have planned for the trunk. Credit card purchase, but I've got the money set aside over the next two months to pay it off. 6 months no interest works for me.

I'll find a job.

I'm having a little fun with the scam artists today. I told them I would be donating to the cause personally to the amount of $3500.00. Then I told them my dad fell and broke his hip and I'm stuck at the hospital. Then I told them Western Union wouldn't take $3500.00 cash, so I was back at the hospital and was going to put the money back in the bank so I could just use my Debit Card. Next, I'm going to tell them to wait because my dad wants to donate $10,000.00 to the project. I can't wait. I hope their mouths are watering. I'm having fun.
