2015 Sonic LTZ - Water Outlet Replacement

Last month all of a sudden, car started beeping, it seems that it was getting hot.
Took to the dealer who mentioned that Water Outlet was leaking coolant.

Had never had this happen in any of my previous cars, Sonic had about 64K miles

Anyone else had this issue?

Had to replace mine at around 45,000 miles. It's a common thing, I think I remember seeing in a post at one point in time someone (racer x I think) was making a billet aluminum part. But they might have stopped development.

Is water outlet replacement covered under PowerTrain warranty?

I just replaced this on my sonic a couple weeks ago, wasn't too bad to get to and the part was about a hundred bucks at the dealer.

This is one of a couple of 1.4L parts I keep on hand as spares due to how often I see other here having to replace them. The others being the ignition module and coolant tank.
