2012 chevy sonic 1.8 automatic hatchback summit white.

Build was just me being me and not spending to much money at all.

This it how it was the day I bought it

Then got the plasti dip cans out and dipped the window trim, bowties and the front chrome on the grill.

Then purchased some wheels from someone on the forum

Got bored and decided to buy some koi orange plasti dip

Decided to get my hood and my spoiler carbon vinyl wrapped.

Future...

Just purchased clear dip with electric blue candy pearl pigments.

So car will be electric blue candy pearl in a week or so..

Also purchased a ZZP stainless catback exhaust..

Hoping to buy:
• Eibach lowering springs
• Cold air intake
• Trifecta Tune and cable
And more...

Car looks great!!! I loved how the Orange works with the white.

Little help though, when you want to post your pics don't post the web address because it only shows up as links. If you click the yellow square that looks like it has a mountain on it and paste the pic URL there it will post to the site with the actual pic. This way people(and you) can enjoy all the pics together and see the progress easier.

Yeah I love the carbon look but didn't want to spend 700$ on a new one. I'm dipping my sonic next week a electric blue candy pearl. so it's gunna look awesome. I hope... Haha

Your hood would look sick black what color did you end up changing your wheels?

Can't wait to see your car after the blue.

I ended up doing them red and green for Christmas because that is what my nephews wanted to see. I did a red and green on front and rear to break it up. There is a pic in my build thread and in the what did you do to your sonic today thread.

Looks great. Been following it on the DYC forum and really like how the pearl accents all the lines. You peel the rest the rear handle and front of the mirror?

I love my ride dipped, trying to think of the next color combo to do. I cant wait till the teal comes out.

And me too I really love the teal color. Probably gunna do another custom color though using pigments.

Still have about a quarter gallon left of dip. Probably gunna go over the side door with 1 more coat. Did in garage so couldn't see what I was missing on the coats

Sorry I know this is a old post. Can anyone tell me what kind of vinyl is on the hood? I have some carbon fiber vinyl but doesn't have that glossy look. That's the look I want on mine.
