32lb injectors

i have a set of camaro z28 36lb lucas injectors layin around from my project car. would this be of any use on my car? i mean they're just layin around here. and i have 8 of them so...idk,

my deal is, at about 4500 rpm the car seems to die out and have zero power. i hit the gas and the trans jumps down, and i'm still stuck next to the big rig i want to pass. i know the car has more power, and if i get off the gas just a little and the trans bumps up a gear i have more power at 3500 than i do at 4500. it just seems to do nothing after about 4500 rpm and it might be a fuel issue??? idk, i'm rambling

i do plan on a trifecta tune and an exhaust/intake and all that mess after the first oil change. maybe this will help

SORRY, JUST NOTICED THAT THE HEADING SAYS 32... i have 36lb injectors, not 32

If you drop in those injectors without a tune, if they fit, your car will not run right. it might not even start.

well i know the injector timing will need to be adjusted, was wondering if it would be worth the small hassle of installing when i get my tune.

is it normally a problem for the sonic to just die out at 5k rpm??? my camaro did (383 stroker) and it was an injector issue, was using stock 26lb and needed at a minimum of 32, so i got 36. but i sold it a while back.

No, it's not a normal issue. You should seek reparations. Or just complain to your local dealer.

was thinkin about the issue with the intake manifold and the block plates and all. maybe something of that nature. idk i guess i'll bring it in and see if anything is goin on. maybe ill do a little more testing on my own first to see if it's me or my imagination.

It also has the tumblers in the intake manifold that hurt top end power as well. It's a debate on whether or not you can shave them with the stock tune but if you're tuned you will need to log it to get it running right. Also, everytime I free up the exhaust I get more power/less drop off above 5500 rpm. Started with the test pipe and had the butt dyno say, yeah, you're pulling harder but still don't mess with that SS Camaro. Added the SLP 2.5" exhaust and noticed a tad more, butt still said don't mess with the SS.... Well, maybe pecker's SS....

This is a pretty easy question to answer - no.
If you have an ultragauge or the like just check the duty cycle.
Not running in the high percentile? Is the ECU not asking for more fuel? Then you're good.

Going higher in boost makes for higher fuel demand and the Trifecta takes you up 4-5lbs and doesn't seem to suffer so I'll generally say no.
