6-speed MT dropped out of gear and won't shift back

I have finally received my car. It's in working condition and I'm glad to have it in one piece. :banana:
I actually had to do one quick fix when I first drove off from the dealership today. The rubber clutch pedal covering fell off.

This 2nd dealership wrote in their notes that the cause was:
Trans grinding hard to get into gear. Internal failure
They replaced the transmission

In all, the parts that were replaced for this entire service event that both dealerships performed were:
Master cylinder
Clutch
Transmission

Great news. Hows it feel? Good thing is, you got a new trans.. which may have minor revisions from your original trans... so maybe this is it for that head ache.

It has the same smooth feel as it was when I first bought the car.

Except today, I noticed that 6th speed seems stiff, not easy to shift into gear. I don't know if that's normal or not. I thought maybe it would smooth out over time.

I have the same concern about inspection. If a slave cylinder leaks how would you know until the clutch fails and the car can't be driven? My dealer's first diagnosis was a "cracked reservoir" and the part was ordered. Then it was "discovered" that the clutch was blown. They don't talk about the cracked reservoir any more because it's all "driver error" or "normal wear" so they can get out of covering anything under the "GMPP" extended warranty.
Inspection Window would help!

Vegamatic, I agree that there needs to be a hydraulic fluid pressure sensor. how many miles do you have on your car?
